Anyone used ecutesting.com recently? Got abs/dtc warnings.

Going to a local Indy to get checked out tomorrow but got the abs/dtc failure. I have a e91 330d 57 plate. Has anyone used ecutesting.com recently? Praying they can fix it if it comes to a problem with the pump!!

I had my unit from my Z4 sent off to them to be repaired. Was sent via Darren Wood (Indy)

Probably getting on for 2 years ago now though

I've currently hot 3 hydro units away with them at the moment I've hit no complaints overall thry fix'em we fix'em, only issue is the turnaround(not their fault if course) but from start yo finish can be around 11 or so days, jut good if you've got a car moored up on a ramp. But they do a good job

Have you had the fault code scanned? I had the same lights and it was a buggered rear abs sensor.

Highly recommended! And a fraction of the price the dealers want for a new one.. BMW quoted me £2200 for a new hydro pump, cost me £200 to have it refurbished at Ecutesting! Bargain!

Well the garage trying to say it needed new and wouldn't send it off to get tested/fixed!! Bit weird for a bmw specialist not to know about this place. So the car is now back at home so I either have to take it out myself (and guides anywhere?) or take it to a garage who will do it for me.

Bit strange that they wouldn't remove it and send it off for you.. It's seems to be a very common problem on 2007 BMW's with the hydro pump failing. All mine needed was a small bit of soldering, but they decided to refurbish the whole unit, and like I said, highly highly recommended.

Been looking for an actual DIY for this repair, but it doesnt seem forthcoming.

The fault appears to the caused by the pressure sensor failing, which for whatever reason they put inside the pump on this model, rather than elsewhere like on many other cars.

The fix is replacing the pressure sensor.

But i cant find anywhere that sells the sensor or its part number etc, or any instructions on opening the pump and replacing it. Surprising given the number of cars this pumps fitted to!
