UGH!! - Scratched my jet black E90

Just got some new tile floors in our kitchen, so the old linoleum floors and some other crap from the kitchen were torn out (metal thresh holds, etc), rolled up and thrown into the garage to be disposed of.

I put them all in a trash bin, and was walking the bin (very heavy) beside my car, when suddenly the weight tipped the bin over and all of the rolled up linoleum fell onto the front passenger fender and hood of my car. I was in a hurry to get going so I didn't go back to look at the damage right away, I assumed it was minimal. I don't even know what in the bin scratched the car.

Boy was I wrong... here is the damage. Please, PLEASE tell me this can be buffed/waxed out. It may be hard to tell from the pictures - I hope that it is not scratched through the paint.

To me it looks like majority of it can be buffed out, why don't you give it a shot? Does you nail catch on the scratches?

From that pic, it looks like all of it can be buffed...but you will most likely need a machine and some compound. Rub it lightly with your fingernail, like hz-diesel said..if you don't feel it, it will come out.
