Anyone able to help with DTUK install?

Ive posted in the N57 section of the forum but thought I might get a little more joy from my fellow UK membership. Thanks in advance,

Russ

Are you sure that you have connected boost pressure end to boost pressure loom?
You will have to press white tab to get it out.
It is very fiddly!

Try them and I am sure that it will change your opinions.

I used to comment like you till I tried one of these boxes.

I agree, I used a bodge on my E46 320d and again on a 150 Leon FR and they were very average and smoked awfuly but the DTUK adjustable one with the boost connection really is impressive

All working a treat now. Dumbass here has connected the boost connector incorrectly. I had chosen the right connector...but wrongly assumed that it could only be inserted into the DTUK loom one way...I was wrong and got it upside down meaning Pin 1 went to Pin 3, Pin 3 to 1 which caused havock with the engine.

Currently running map 3 + 20%...It's very "boosty" for want of a better word with a big surge of power at 3000rpm

It's well discussed on here about the issue you can have fitting the boost connector upside down and in the original fitting instructions there is a page dedicated to explaining the correct fitting so don't worry it can be done!

I was running mine on Map 3 +20% and loved it, pulled really high up in the rev range
