Zf or Aftermarket

I want to change the transmission oil and filter on my E90 330i, but can't seem to find a genuine zf kit for the 6hp19 gearbox. There are lots of aftermarket kits available which all include the oil and mechatronic sleeve. The 'Meyle' brand seems readily available. Has anyone used a aftermarket kit, and if so, which one?

You can get genuine ZF kit from Euros with everything you need including the mechatronic sleeve for around £200+VAT you won't find it on the online site but pick up the phone make an enquiry and it'll be found part number ends in either 58K or 59K done loads of them as its great value for money being 100% complete as it is

Thanks Steve. I recently sent your company a email regarding the cost of getting this work done. Unfortunately I got no reply. I guess you folks are really busy.

Yep we are busy for sure but there are small but necessary online restraints at the present time, but if you sent an email re enquiry over the past 10 or so days then yes we've had issues especially re the enquiry status getting then over as we are in the final stages of changing all sorts of things re host/websites and emails I see a few and answer a few when did you send the enquiry over

But your best off PMing me as I answer all of them if you didn't get a response form the website but all that should be ironed out come Tuesday/Wednesday

Just got back from having a transmission oil and filter service done at A1 Bn Specialist in Stevenage. I elected to drive the 40+ miles rather than my local garage purely based on the comments and reviews on the forum.
These guys are a very professional outfit, with excellent customer service. The whole experience was worth the trip, and the E90 is going up and down through the gears like a new car now. I would highly recommended these guys if your car needs some work doing. Thanks once again Steve, for your timely service, and for answering all my silly questions.

Very kind of you to say so Ray, busy day as per usual but it got done hopefully over the days weeks etc. the car will turn out as you've already stated to feel a little different, you may see fuel economy improve a tad too, but usually when done right these services work. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...9#post18722189

Just to add to this, i had my ATF fluid changed at A1BN's too. Very good service and the box has been silky smooth ever since. Will be going back there for the next ATF change.
