Has anyone tried to use a 2010 e92 tpms on a 2011 e92 (335i) tires. Is it compatible or would require a complete new tpms due to LCI change? THX
some say 2010 will not work some say 2009 will not but 2010 will work. Any real life exp?

BMW changed the tire pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS sensors) in 2010 to a different type than the one previously used in 2007-2009 3 Series models.

They are not cross-compatible. If you have wheels from a 2007-2009 BMW 3 Series car and would like to use those wheels on your 2010-2011 3 series BMW, you'll need to purchase the newer sensors.

I have an 09 335i and a 11 328i and the tpms are not swappable.

Depends on your build date -- August 2009 is the cut-off date.

LCI vs Pre LCI are not compatible.. I believe (E92)
