New Member/Owner Intro.
Just thought i'd take the time to introduce myself as a new member and new owner of an F30 320d M Sport Saloon N47 2.0d Sport Auto.
Have been converted over from A##i after previously owning an A3 2.0 tdi S-Line Black Edition. Took delivery of the new car on Sunday just gone and absolutely fallen in love with it. Here is my new pride and joy... Car is spec'd with the following: Black Dakota Leather 19' 403M Alloys Sport Auto High-gloss Black interior trim finisher Sun protection glass Split-folding rear seats Extended storage Seat heating front Head restraints rear and folding Interior comfort package Looking to add a few extras over the above so would welcome some advice on -Black OEM Kidney Grilles -Rear lip spoilers -Front OEM splitters -OBD programming cables -Front headlight bulb replacement (missing my Xenon's i had previously) so would like some whiter, brighter versions of the standard bulbs and DRL's! I will have a search around on the forum for this in the mean time but please feel free to provide any advice! Cheers -Mowbray89 Last edited by Mowbray89; 09-16-2015 at 01:12 PM.. Welcome to the forum.
A few insights to get you started : Diesels are fine. You get the odd (very odd) non-believer, but he's harmless. Mods are encouraged/expected. You might need more money. Jump right in.

Welcome to the mad house. Nice car, i had AW before going for EB? I'm sure you'll find it really is all the car you'll ever need.....but it wont stop you wanting or (indeed other rather helpful members explaining you should have) a 330 as a minimum as i do, just can't get the maths to work?....

So it begins... before and after grilles. 20 mins with a quick clean and done. No disassembly required, prised out from in between the fins!
Got the grilles from BMW Stratstone Chesterfield off eBay. £85 for genuine parts with 24 hour delivery. Makes such a difference to the look of the car with such a small mod. Can't believe the M-Sports aren't like this from standard. Now whats next... Last edited by Mowbray89; 09-23-2015 at 02:11 PM.. |
