Turbo woe - Where to get a 'new' one?
So my M47 320 has decided to spit the dummy and the turbo has started to whine.
Had a quote from my local reputable indy... They can supply a new one, or try and source a refurbed one. Question for the group is here, who should I looked to for a unit? Ebay for circa £250 seems to cheap... £1000 for a new one Any recommendations? I am seriously thinking about fixing this and then selling the car, seems to be one thing after another... I don't want to bodge it, but I also don't want to fit a brand new one...

I've used AET turbos in the past - They have a turbo exchange service. I've also had a replacement garrett turbo from turbodynamics. Not to repair a BMW but both the turbos were fine for 20-30k after which the cars were sold.
