22PLE Coating - Quote
Trying to get a durable good sealant on my car before winter.
My detailed recommends a 22PLE sealant. Total cost for prep and application on a M235 is $800. Lasts about 18-24 months. Any experience here with that sealant/coating and the quoted cost? Thanks.

I paid $300 for OptiCoat. 2 years later it looks just as good as the first day.

I agree. That's a little expensive given that your car is relatively new. Unless there is a lot of prep to be done or correction.

I bought a 35ml 22ple bottle with microfiber towels and applicator pads for ~$100.
I plan to apply it myself. My car has been only high-pressure washed so far (no touch) and there are not any imperfections (or they are not noticeable). A detail will probably do a better job than me but in my opinion it does not justify the cost. |

Between the VX3 / VXPro2 / ZX Mistico coatings is there a noticeable difference in the final appearance on the vehicle?
Photos showing examples of each would be appreciated. Thanks. |
