Nice one! M-sport trim looks so much better

Not a fan at all of the wood trim though, first thing I would have done is replace them for some piano gloss black ones

This looks spot on IMO. Lovely colour, great wheel choice (CH R are some of my favourites) and its quite amazing how much better the front end looks with the new bumper & grill.

How do you find the BCs?

Oh & what's the smart top do then?

I believe the smart top allows you to open/close the hard top roof through the keyfob without having to hold the button (just one press).

As above how do you find the bc coil overs I've had nothing but problems with mine so far. Had a knocking noise coming from passenger side front after fitting have had to replace the dampener and the top mount under warranty

I know BC Racing is a budget suspension but I'm not happy with it.

Some times there are noises from front suspension.

smartTOP
-open/close the roof from the key fob
-open/close the roof while driving up to ~15 mph
-I can turn the ignition off and take the key out during the roof movement
-I don't need hold the switch during the roof movement just "one-touch"

I also never really noticed that this bumper looks a lot nicer than the previous e93 m sport bumper. When did this facelifted bumper come in?

Awesome stuff, thanks for sharing.

Could you provide further info on that downpipe and mapping situation, please? Did the same place supply+fit all of it or did you get the DP from elsewhere? Who fitted it?

I've also got a 330D LCI which I want to do the DP/EGR/remap on next year.

Thanks bud.

I've got N57 engine (most available downpipes are for M57 engine)
I was looking for a downpipe for about 6 months.
At the end of the day I convinced my mate who is a welder to designed and built a downpipe form me. (it has sport cat but NO dpf.)

The overall cost for me was about £350.
I fitted it by self

I remaped my car at TC Performance Walsall

They prepared an individual map for me (dpf off, egr off, more BHP & Nm)

To get more power I need update a turbocharger to a hybrid one.
Another problem is automatic gearbox GA6HP26Z designed for maximum torque of 600 Nm. In practice can take up to 700Nm

I'm happy with them.
They tied a few maps before we decided which is the best.
1st map was the 320BHP and 700Nm!! but the car was smoky.
They prepared another 3 times and left 314BHP and 675Nm.
They spent about 4-5 hours with my car.

I changed the transmission fluid and filter by self

Verrry interesting. Good work! Do you think your mate would be willing to make some more of those downpipes? I'd be very interested in one when I get round to doing these performance mods next year...

Thanks

Get In touch with bc Ive sorted myn under warranty they will try and blag you by saying your pre load is wrong and that they need the strut for testing but if you keep on at them they will replace the parts. I've replaced the n/s/f dampener and top mount bearing also it may be worth changing your drop links the ones they provide are made of chocolate.

Looks fantastic, same colour as mine underneath my wrap, everytime I see one in Bluewater Metallic I think about removing the wrap!

Congrats on the remap, unleashes the potential of the 330d!
