Where are you located? I also want to make sure I get the monthly lease right, $725/month?

Northern VA. $725/month lease. I know, it's expensive. It's because BMW thinks Sport Wagons aren't popular in the US and therefor gave it a low residual estimate (which increases monthly lease cost). But we all know that's wrong, just google how many people tried to import the E61 M5 Wagon (unsuccessfully). The residual buy-out at the end of the lease is ~$34k, my plan was to sell it at the end of the lease for $38k and just pocket the $4k difference instead of turning it in to the dealer (who will just turn around and sell it for 38k).

Some say he thinks R-comps are chew toys and that if it were up to him, he would have replaced Jezza with TopGearDog.

So I just found out that Estoril Blue, obviously the best color, was only available in 2014 - You cannot buy a new 328 Wagon in this spec. Why do they do that?

MSRP on this was $60,050.

I'm getting the car cleaned up today. Then I'll take some pics and re-do this post.

But it looks like this except my car has more options. M Sport Interior, every option, aluminum trim with blue highlight:

Updated with photos and changed the post to reflect that I'm seriously selling it instead of just feeling it out. I'd much rather sell it to an enthusiast of the forums rather than some joe shmo that won't respect it.

At the end of December I leased a comparably equipped wagon that had been sitting on the dealer's lot for nearly a year. Negotiated a great deal on the purchase price - about 20% off sticker. I'm sure if I had tried to buy it shortly after it arrived in inventory I would never have got as good a deal.

Love the car more than I expected. I'm coming from a 2006 S4 Avant so I miss the engine sound, torque, speed, etc. But the 328 is quick enough and very fun to drive. Never would have thought I'd love all the tech gizmos as much as I do, but I have to say it's pretty fun. Sort of like a video game.

Anyway, GLWS and have a free bump from a fellow F31 owner.

Dammmm, that's a beautiful car. Good luck. Hope it goes to an appreciative buyer.

New to the leasing world. How does one just take over the lease? Would I just pay you for the payments or go through a bank?

For lease takeover, you would just take over the lease through BMWFS. The lease would essentially transfer to your name. This process takes about a month and costs you an extra $500 for BMW to review your credit and determine if you're worthy enough to take over the lease.

The other option is to just buy it outright. In that case you're purchasing the car from BMWFS for the current buyout price, that price goes down every month I make a lease payment. And then they overnight the title and that's it.
