Muffler flap

is it possible to do a muffler delete and leave the flap that I believe is in the driver side tip

Would it help the drone a little when is closed ? If I was to actually do a muffler delete and leave the flap on

No, because the flap is part of the muffler; if you remove the muffler, you remove the flap. Why on earth would you want to do that in the first place? The sound will be pretty annoying both inside and outside the car. Just get an aftermarket exhaust system or have a competent shop create one for you.
