New member! bad history with this car
Hey guys!
First of all i want to say thanks! This forum has helped me threw thick and thin with my recently purchased 2006 323i e90 Its on 121,000kms First to go was battery, brake rotors and pads and sensors first month All expected Then was the water pump!! Then vanos solenoids! Wheel bearing! Now the biggest one! The airbag light came on.... Ive purchased and scanned it witha obd tool saying 'Faulty battery safety terminal' After doing ny reserch i found its generally related to the cable not the distribution box So I've gone to every wreckers and finally found an identical cable Removed my old one Which looks like the pyrofuse has discharged I replace it simple enough with the new cable Put everything back together And boom I get lights, radio all that I can hear the starter trying to crank but it wont turn the car over! Now my question is... Is the cable i was sold faulty also OR it does have a different part number despite being identical, is it maybe a different voltage output? THANKS! |

Battery is fine as it starts with the old cable only with an airbag light
Issue is with the cable Whether faulty or wrong one Does anyone know a way to check the cable outside of the car |
