Window Banner Group Buy

Hey guys was wondering would anyone be down to do a group buy of this banner. Basically its just the M stripes on any color background you want. This is how it looks on my E90 sedan. Ignore the snapchat filter.

Price depends on # of people interested.

Then saw OP has a 328...

It's not the worst thing I've seen but not something I'd do personally, m car or not.

Then there's the "I have an M3, if you couldn't already tell" crowd. I saw an M3 parked one day, and it must've had 10 different M logos on it. Windshields, body panels, everywhere...

I agree though, it could be worse.

I fully understand my car is the furthest thing from an M car, or an M3. However, to me these stripes represent more of the history of BMW than anything else. I don't claim my car to be fast, nor sporty. It's just a great daily, that is fun to drive. Honestly if it didn't have a manual transmission this car would make me yawn. I did the stripes for aesthetic purposes, and I was hoping that by proposing the group buy people would see it the same way that I do. Guess not. I'd understand the hate if I had a big old 3 right next to the stripes, but in the end it's just 3 different color stripes. The average Joe driving down the road sees just that as well.

Not for me but doesn't look horrible. Definitely looks better than those grill stripes people do.

Your just lucky this didn't turn into a 328vs335vsm3 thread. I hear op of those is forced to drive a geo for 5 years afterwards

Understand your POV on this one.. And I don't disagree with your logic behind why you didn't think twice about putting this banner on your car. However, I personally wouldn't feel right about sporting one of these myself. To me its essentially the same thing as putting an AMG badge on a regular Benz, or an SVT badge on a V6 Mustang.. just not cool. I think that BMW's entire M-line do a great job of showing themselves off already and don't need any extra "reminders" for public recognition. That being said, I do think it looks kinda cool just a bit too much for my taste.. and apparently most people that have replied to your post agree. Either way - car looks good bro.

I like it, I think it looks decent.

Personally, I wouldn't do it (but might consider), but I do like the subtleness of it and the overall look. I think it's unfair to automatically pass it off as an "M-Wannabe" rather than also take BMW's, our cars heritage, into consideration.

It's not like he slapped an M-Badge on the rear and tried to pass it off as something that it isn't.

Oh don't be shutting down a potential so fast eh.....I'm kind of thinking those stripes might just represent the badge of "what I want to be"...you know what I mean. We can get this going..c'mon boys

I like it on your car, but I don't expect you'll get any takers. It's a bold look.
