Carbon Fiber trim interior door handles?
Hey guys so my passenger door handle melted off a lot today in the wonderful SC heat and instead of putting on a new one is there any trim in carbon fiber or any other color that looks clean and can cover this up or no? Thanks

do you have the woodgrain trim cause if you do it might clash with that CF trim unless you do the whole thing carbon fiber. I personally like it but a lot of people think it looks way to cheap. 3M is the way to go!

anyone? I know there has to be some guys who've done different options when this happened to their car. Pics below or problem and my car for reference.

Not really any trim for that since it's the textured part. Can't wrap that in vinyl as it won't adhere properly. Either buy new handle or maybe have a trip shop wrap it in leather or something.

The outer handle (closest to the passenger) is easy to replace. However, the inner side is a major PITA. It is plastic-welded to the door card. You have to remove the door card, cut/melt off the plastic welds, then put in your new one and figure out a way to redo the plastic welds. I found that a butane torch followed by a few hits with a metal hammer worked well. They are pretty inexpensive (IIRC around $10 each) so if you can put in the time, you can replace them with new pieces.
