Probably closing on my first bmw 2011 335!! Excited/anxious thoughts?

Hi all,
After a long time searching, and finally deciding on focusing on a F30 335xdrive msport- the unthinkable happened

A 2011 335xdrive msport pops up at a highly well reputable bmw dealership, with 9K miles. The car is space grey, auto, loaded..listed at 29900 (I dont think it has the HK stereo though judging by the vin decoder below?)
http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...06792061&Log=0

The carfax is as clean as it gets- bought new at said BMW, serviced there, just not driven much.

Now its certified pre owned- I called the second day it was on the web and they already were getting calls on it (I believe them). So didnt try to negotiate much- a used F30 would be appx 40K the way I wanted it optioned- so I saved 10K and got the better drivers car.. 29K was lowest they can go, since 2 days on market, and calls coming in/ appointments set (yes i know, can be BS) but one like this did pop up closer to me at a non BMW dealer- with 10K miles, it was gone within the week! And sold for $29K with no BMW extended warranty!

Im a little dissapointed thinking Im spending $29K on a 4 year old car- but hopefully that changes when i get it, picking it up later this week.

Note: Another thing i thought about with the F30 xdrive i wanted with adaptive suspension to help with the float you read everywhere- my wife has a MDX with the sport package, which has the magnetic shocks. They blew close to 60K miles- (only bad thing that ever happened with the suv, its a tank) and they were 800 each to replace! So I imagine adaptive suspension owners will have a big bill to pay if their shocks go.

What do you guys think? Although part of me is a little remorseful- from what im reading the e90 is a blast to drive, and its neat to scoop up probably one of the few mint ones left- those of you that have how do you like it?

M-Sport e90 with only 9k? You'll be happy don't worry

I bought my 08' early last year with only 37k, and haven't had a moment of regret.

I found mine last year with 17k on it and have been loving it the whole way, despite several dealer visits. For me the e90 just has a better feel in drivability than the f30 and I think they look better. Only thing f30 has the e90 beat on is the interior layout.

You bought a great car for under $30K...you won! Enjoy one of the best cars in the automotive world.

And post some photos!

Lose the remorse, the E90 is a much better driver's car than F30 generation.

You did good. Who cares it's 4 year old and certainly not at that mileage.

Rahal? Right here in South Central PA? Where was this car when I was looking a couple months ago lol! That's a great price with the low mileage. I test drove four '11 models, including one M Sport, the latter of which was in a previous accident and needed some work AND had over 40K on the odometer.

I settled on one with 28,500 miles for $25,500 (had to buy an after-market warranty though) and have been quite happy with the exception of a dash board rattle that comes and goes. I'll be pulling the CIC and Nav screen off to try and end this.

I nearly bought one from BMW in Reading with 28,500 on the odometer and it wasn't even a sport model (mine is) and didn't have nearly as many features as mine. The salesman wouldn't come down one cent so I went elsewhere It was very plain Jane (white with black interior). It was priced at $29,500 and was CPO.

The guy followed up the next week and acted surprised when I told him what I paid for a nice model with the same mileage and more features.

Congrats and enjoy!

Sweet deal! You would never see a CPO car for that price in my neck of the woods. CPO adds a significant dollar amount to the price!

Thanks for all the replies guys. All the positive reinforcement really helps as I am getting hung up on the fact that it's a four-year-old car. I literally let one similar slept right through my hands at a local GM dealership and they sold it for 28 500 with no warranty. Amazingly I went right after that and bought a 2013 Acura TL SH AWD that was a great car but after a few little test drives in that 335 I couldn't stop thinking about it luckily they had a five day return policy so I returned the Acura and kept on looking forThe next available 335.

It really makes me feel better reading how much you guys love yours I think for what we basically all paid for them there really isn't much out there that offers for doors all wheel drive performance and decent technology combination. The Acura TL AWD was a 2013 it's a great car it just felt a little boring for me and wanted the extra performance of the 335 although the sacrifices possiblehigher maintenance cost.

The dealers five hours away I have a rental lined up and I'm heading out Saturday morning at 5 AM wish me luck I'll post pics happy to be a part of the family cheers

Thanks for that, but I saw it in another thread.

thanks everyone! Havent had a chance to tint windows yet or do any mods.Im loving it alot and now know what everyone means by the bmw steering wheel feel

I traded cars with my cousin who just bought a new TLX, we cruised around following eachother- the steering wheel felt so skinny like a noodle, and so damn light that it was a turn off- the rest of the car was finished very nice though- but now I see what you all mean about steering feel

Is that how the F30 feels that makes everyone comment/ complain about the light steering?

The guys at the bmw dealership i bought this at said that BMW is aware of the complaining on how the F30 steering feels compared to the E90 generation, and they are working to correct that with the new generation coming. Which sounds neat that they are reacting to the negative customer feedback.

Congrats and hope you enjoy a lot of miles on your car! In my opinion the E90 335i is one of the best cars ever created this side of supercars.

I still have shitloads of rattles...only difference now is I stopped giving a fuck about the car really...

I am mostly driving around a late model banged up Chevy Colorado now...never felt better.
