New BMW Owner 08 335i AT

What's up everyone

Just traded in my TSX for this beautiful 2008 335i AT with 77k miles on it. Only history I know is it was purchased in Germany, prior owner was military and got it shipped to the states.

How do I get the service records since I have no clue what and what hasn't been done? Thanks in advance.

Welcome and congratulations.

BMW has a policy that they don't give out the previous service records and cite privacy of previous owners.

Looks good! Any other modifications to it other then the blacked out wheels?

Thanks, has an active bov & fmic...not sure if previous owner had it tuned. Is there anyway to tell if has a tune without going to the dealer?

Drive it and see

You can check for JB4 by physically looking for it since it's a piggyback module.

If its a flash tune I'm not sure how you'd figure it out.

Nice find, did you get a PPI..?? Also you can run a carfax and see if it lists any of the recalls or campaigns on there and then try to call the dealer that serviced it and see if they'll give you information.. I've been lucky and was able to track down every one of my cars services done through the dealer but with two of the dealerships it did take a bit of persistence.. When all else fails though just call BMW NA, they have helped me 5/5 times that I've called them..

Nice car OP! I also recently traded in my tsx for a 2008 335i sedan in montego blue too.

Definitely black out your window trim. Looks so much better especially on montego blue
