Cracked Valve Cover CPO Just Ran Out

I just discovered my valve cover is cracked and my oil filter housing gasket is leaking. My CPO just ran out a month ago. I spoke to the dealer today, and they said they would check it out and see if they could get BMW to cover it.

Has anybody else had any luck with this? I think it's obvious the failures occurred a while back while the car was still under warranty, but I obviously cannot prove that.

Good luck. I had an issue with my compass on my rear view mirror not working. Warranty was going to expire in a few days, but I wouldn't be able to bring it in for a week (I lived 200 miles from the nearest dealership).

I called, took video of the issue, but the dealership and BMWNA both said that unless I could bring the car in before the warranty expired, they would not cover it.

Try another dealership if one rejects the coverage. Good luck.

Had a leaking valve cover gasket in an Audi a couple years ago... Warranty expired 2 months ago and Audi NA covered it with no hassle... Good luck

Yeah they should cover it under good Will. I had BMW replace my entire car seat cuz ur was worn out on the side and warranty expired 2k miles ago.
