Adaptive Air Suspension/lift Aftermarket

Are there any such comfort ride additions that after market parts can help with. I know a buddy has a 2009 Audi a8 and was fascinated by the air lift and smooth ride with that on.

I see some cars with air rides but wasn't sure the purpose of those being so low to the ground, and if thats different from the adaptive air suspension on newer luxury cars.

Unless the key is better tires for ride comfort.

I think it really depends on how you set it up. These days, a lot of the air rides go towards being low and whatnot. I'm sure if you get in contact with any of the air ride companies, than can help you build a kit that might fulfill what you're looking for.
