E90 320d rear disc size and recommended pads, EBC, PAGID, JURID and TEXTAR
Hi all,
Having difficulty searching through Google first, forum and RealOEM trying to find out the rear disc brake size on my '06 320D M-Sport, reason is, looking for rear pads as they're getting close but CBS light hasn't come on yet, Euro Car Parts have 2 options for pads dependant on disc size, is mine 300mm or 330mm? Finally, what pads would everyone recommend, looked at EBC redstuff or greenstuff just as a step up from OEM and not much more expensive than motor factors but seen mixed reviews, some say look at OE spec such as PAGID, JURID, Feredo, Bosch and TEXTAR etc. Many Thanks! |

Can't comment on disk sizes etc but I recently got the Textar ones put on (was recommended by someone on the forum) and they perform well.
Although if I was getting pads and disks all round I would probably upgrade to the EBC ones, in saying that, I was put off because some people in the posts I read had problems with them. Ben |

320d will likely have 300mm brakes.
My brother upgraded his to 330mm brakes off a 330d. Stick to decent OEM brakes, Textar, ferodo, Jurid, Mintex etc. Personally i would avoid the Pagid pads from ECP, but its more a gut feeling than anything. I wouldnt bother going to the expense of EBC's for a standard car. |
