Door Locked, Key wont open

Hey Guys,

I got back from lunch today to find that my driver door won't unlock, either using the remote, the interior handle or unlock button, and won't even unlock when I put the key in and turn it. It sounds like there is movement (or attempted movement) inside the door when I unlock it. I am aware that the actuators fail on these doors, but if it was the actuator, wouldn't the manual key unlock it? or no?

Known solenoid issue.
You will need to order the door lock repair kit.

I did mine a few months ago.

Yep, very common, I had it fixed under CPO.

techwhiz Could you post what kit you used?

tsmez1, i read that- but in that thread he said that electronic lock works perfectly, which isn't the case with mine.
