hi all - I'm looking to replace the boring yellow angel eyes on my 56 plate e92. What bulbs do these take? If anyone has fitted eBay bulbs and you please post pics and links if you have them

Thanks guys - so h8 fitment. Have any of you guys out there managed to get a decent bulb that produces white light with decent coverage of the rings?

These are the ones I just fitted, they are the LUX H8 160:



In comparison to stock, these are so much better!



Here straight on, you can see how the outer rings are slightly dim compared to the inside rings but this is due to the design of the angel eyes, but these are the best I've seen so far.

I installed these on my e92 about three months ago and get my vote. They aren't cheap at $200 plus customs charges as they come from the US but they are by far the best bulb replacement I have come across.

Send LuxAngelEyes a message, he advertises in the cosmetic and lighting section. Because you run a 2006 i dont think you will be able to have the 160's but he will let you know what's available for your car as there are various versions available.

I brought direct from the luxangeleyes website and paid $199 plus shipping which amounted to £140. I had to wait 2.5 weeks before I received them along with £37 customs and handling charges which is a total of £177.

The v5 version (which will work for your 56 plate e92 is also $199.

There is a UK supplier if you don't want to wait but the price is £226.

I've heard the MTECH angel eyes are pretty good, you can get them from the horizon led website and they are £140.
