Dinan suspension package on XDrive

Anyone using the Dinan suspension package on their F30 335i XDrive with adaptive suspension? I've read a lot about what people think about it on non-XDrive cars, but very little on the higher XDrive models.

Did you find the drop enough? Did it eliminate the body role like others report? My concern is that the XDrive models have a much higher stock height and 3/4" doesn't sound like very much, but I could see that acceptable on a non-XDrive car.

More than anything I'm looking for performance and maintaining a warranty, but it would feel wrong to spend a small fortune if the drop still looked like it didn't make sense for the car.

I have an xDrive 335 with Adaptive M Suspension and I've swapped out to the Dinan springs. I passed on the bump stops though and I have not experienced any adverse effects in terms of ride comfort. I drive in the downtown core and over some pretty rough roads in Etobicoke without any issues.

Since this is my daily, I feel that the ride height is an acceptable level. I've not taken this car to the track or auto x, but I feel that the body roll is significantly reduced/non-existent. In comfort you might notice a little bit of roll, but in sport, I think you would be hard pressed to notice any under normal driving conditions.

I am very happy with them and will be getting the Shockware next (probably when it goes on sale).

Another Dinan spring + bump stop member here, non-adaptive suspension. Look through my thread for pics. Perfect setup to give a noticeable drop without killing driveability and comfort imo.

Dinan and Bilstein B8 and no adaptive suspension. Dinan and stock struts/shock absorbers was not a good match. Car was bouncing too much, it felt like the shocks were shot.

How is the ride with the bilstein B8s? I am curious, because I am thinking about matching them with my dinar springs.

Scar F16 - I wrote a review about it here - "BMW 3-Series and 4-Series Forum (F30 / F32) | F30POST > Technical Forums > Suspension | Chassis | Brakes > 328i xDrive on Dinan springs paired with Bilstein B8"

http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1148579

All in all the car is immensely improved.

Let me know if you still need more info after your have read the thread.

bbog2008 - Thanks for the link! I pulled the trigger on the b8's, & am picking up the car later today. Can't wait for the transformation...I'll post a full review & pics here in a few days.

bbog2008 - so far I completely agree with your quote "All in all the car is immensely improved." The B8s completely transformed the car. It rides very similar to my friends stock E92 M3 now. More to follow...

I'm satisfied with my 335i xDrive with Dinan Springs + Bumpstops, Adaptive M Suspension, Shockware and Michelin Pilot SS. Lowering hasn't been an issue for me yet even living in an urban environment. Handling is definitely improved, body roll is greatly reduced. We'll see how it handles the snow this winter.
