New intake?

I saw this while browsing ecs and it popped up as a new item. It won't fit for my car but I thought it'd be pretty cool for you 335i guys http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E90-335....0L/ES2713282/

What do you guys think? Are there better ones out there?

My .02 is that if you want carbon fiber, that's your pick. If you could care less, like myself, and just want an intake, pick a DCI.

Ahh didn't realized this was posted already. And neither will work for my car since I have a 325i

Looks like a nice kit, but I wouldn’t pay $699.95 (+tax?) for only a 18 rwhp gain. Not going to make much of a big difference in acceleration time.
Adding a FMIC, is more HP value for the money.

No one should buy an intake (not talking about inlets here), if they're in it for big gains.

This is the cheapest carbon fiber unit on the market that I'm aware of, others are over 1k. If you want an intake that looks great, this is your choice.

It's a waste of money.. The OEM intake is already engineered to be at damn near full potential performance wise.

Would look a lot better without the ECS badge.

$699.95 is a lot of money for just a cosmetic look which nobody is typically going to see from the outside, until the hood is open, but hey it’s your car and it's a free country. If one can afford it, do what makes you happy.

It is a really good looking product. Keep in mind, it will not give you more gains than any other intake on the market.
If you do not mind spending that much for an intake, go for it

Garage List
I'd save the money and put them towards inlets

Yeah $700 for an intake kit that'll get you the same gains as a $75 kit, no thanks. Would be a great look for a show car though.

How much would it add to acceleration times? 0-60 0-100 etc..
