windshield washer low pressure
Hello,
I have 2010 328i with 52k miles. The windshield washers were working fine, then last week, it started to spray very low pressure water. I hear the motor, but almost no water is coming out from the nozzles. Is this the pump, or just clogged hose? I am asking this because my car still is under cpo warranty, and SA told me that if it's the pump, it's covered, otherwise, no. I do not want to drop off my car at a dealer, and they found out that it's just the hose or filter, then I have to pay $$$ I just want to know symptoms of bad pump...so if it is the problem, then I will drop off at a dealer. I just hurt my back, and I can't work on my car...it seems easy job to check and replace the pump. Thanks. |

There's a plastic mesh filter on the pump that's probably clogged with gunk or slime.
