Water damage on my stereo head unit

Hey guys
So I'm desperate. I forgot my front two windows down on my e90. We got a hurricane (basically) in 15 mins and my entire car was soaked when I woke up in the morning. My driveway is a little hill so all the water formed a puddle in the back over the mats. I dried everything up super dry and everything is working properly except my radio. The backlight on the Pixel Display screen works but I can't see the time or any letters/numbers. My sound system isn't working (put a cd in, it takes it) the Door chime/gong isn't working either. I was wondering what the heck I can even do to solve this.

I already checked all the fuses, removed the head unit and used a blow dryer to blow cool air on it for a half hour, and I turned off my battery for a half hour.

Does anyone know If I can but a used head unit from an e90 and somehow reprogram it to my car?

and would this even solve my problem

Thanks everyone in advance

Which BMW stereo system do you have?

Which BMW stereo system do you have?
Do you have Idrive or the pro radio ?
Do you have the stereo , Hi Fi or L7 sound system.
If you have the Hi Fi or L7 the amplifier in your trunk
could have drowned to.

If you find a used Head Unit it will have to be programmed
to the sound system and options in the car.

You could try sending it for repair.
