335 Mtech Rear

So i was able to get a E92 335 tech rear for my 328 e92 the problem i have is that the diffuser I order doesn't seem to fit the bumper i don't want to force it on the bumper because i just got the bumper painted..im wondering can the 328 diffuser fit a 335 rear bumper

The bumper is the same. Are they both OEM parts? Where is it not fitting?

One of the biggest reasons BMW made that bumper is to save money. They can use the same bumper for both the 335 and 328 while only changing the diffuser. It wouldn't make sense for them to spend the money to make one only slightly different. If the diffuser doesn't fit, one or both of the parts is not oem and will need modification to fit properly

You could use it as an opportunity to do a dual exhaust conversion, though.

It might fit better once it's on the car. It's probably flexing while its sitting on your bed.

The corners need to be trimmed to fit the performance diffuser. Every mtech bumper requires this. But this is the stock one right?

Yeah that definitely isn't the performance diffuser.

There's a portion that needs to be trimmed for the performance style one. But this is the standard version so no trimming necessary. Like others said maybe it'll go right on when it's on the car.

They are different. Looking at your pictures more carefully, the diffuser looks like pre-LCI E90 Mtech, not E92.
