Just got my hands on an M Performance front splittler for little over £100 second hand, quite a saving on a new one at £985 from the dealer!

The only catch is it has a few scuffs and scratches to the clear coat which will need to be addressed but most shouldnt be a problem to sort. The underside has some deeper scratches which probably wont completely come out, but these cant be seen at all when fitted.

Can anybody recommend any body shops or detailers in the North East who might be able to help?

I am tempted to paint the side bits white and just leave the splitter carbon, I sometimes feel the splitter looks a little too much on the front from certain angles being all carbon. A touch of white might just keep things a little more subtle. Id never have chanced buying a new one from the dealers to paint, but with this being so cheap I'd be willing to take the risk. Any thoughts? Or even better anyone good with photoshop??

I have the same one and i painted the top bits the same colour as the car. Totally personal thing, but i think it looks better painted that way (IMO)

That's a 3 series, the OP has a 4, they're different.

Yeah thats how I like the 3 series painted, thats what made me want to do it to this one, they're slightly different on the 4 so wasnt sure what it would look like and I havnt seen any done
