Car wash at BMW of Seattle

has any had their car washed there recently? Last year I had a bad experience with them. I wonder if they have improved in that respect. My service appointment is tomorrow, so I'm trying to decide if I should let them wash my baby or not.

Well, I already have them. Took my car to a reputable local hand car wash a couple times, and the swirls are all over the car. I guess the BMW paint is not the most reliable one. My wife washes her A4 at automatic car washes and the paint looks great.

Don't let them wash your car.....no matter how bad your paint already is.....unless of course, if you want it to get worse.

You guys are so funny! Will you let someone to wash your wife/gf?

I guess in my mind, "sleeping" is more comparable to driving.

I left "No Wash" instructions with my car at Bellevue and they were so nice they gave me a car wash anyway, heavy swirl marks were free. Looks like they used a brillo pad to wash it.

Safer to wash it yourself. Especially if you have a darker car.

I usually let Seattle Wash my car, I am just not that worried about it but it does look pretty good, though it's a light color so swirls aren't a real concern...

Anyone else get their windows tinted yet? ATG???

never. no matter which dealer offers you one. unless you are paying a reputable detailer then nobody else should be washing your car.

get a blank piece of paper with a bold sharpie writing that says "NO CAR WASH PLEASE" and tape it on the window or windshield.
