Battery Tender
Does a better tender work properly on our cars? When I put my car away for more than a couple days I will hook the tender to the terminals under the hood.
Sometimes the tender will say that the battery is charged (solid green light) within 10 minutes or so of being hooked up. Given how massive the battery is I find this hard to believe. Other times I'll come out to the garage after a couple of days and the tender will say that its charging (solid red light). I was curious if with this car's fancy battery management system, will it allow the Battery Tender to properly do it's job when hooked to the terminals under the hood?

That sounds normal for a float charger. It will charge at low current until it sees battery voltage at "full charge" then stop charging until the battery has discharged back below a certain voltage/threshold, thus its not overcharging the battery.

Which tender are you using? When I used my cheaper one I had the same outcome as you. I switched to the Cytek and I believe it works much better for our cars.
