Help with HKS BOV install
Does anyone have pictures of how the vaccum hoses are connected?
I searched through the forum, and couldn't find a DIY on the HKS BOV install. I ordered it brand new with VRSF CP, but there was no instruction on how to connect them together. I know how to disconnect the stock CP, diverter valve, TMAP sensors, connect the caps, but when it got to connecting the vacuum hose, I'm a little lost. HKS BOV kit included two T-fitting, 1 bypass valve, but it didn't have a vaccum hose. I'm not sure where I am suppose to fit the two t-fitting. I read a post of a DIY install of a TIAL BOV, it has good details. But on the part where I disconnect the hoses from the BVT, do I simply connect it to another "new vaccum hose" that I may have to purchase? If so, what size? Do I need to use the vaccum hose filter? (Clear, plastic part) It is my first time installing the BOV, thanks for reading this. *If anyone has a picture of how to vaccum hose are connected from the BVT, and how it is run to the HKS BOV, please share. Thank you! |

For Tial (I'd assume HKS is the same), run a single line from the nipple behind the throttle body directly to the top of the BOV. Be careful removing the old line, it likes to break off the plastic vacuum nipple on the manifold.
