330 will not start. Need help!

Hey everyone,

My 2006 330xi will not start.
Symptoms:
- hard brake pedal
- dash lights aren't coming on anymore
- the time and date fade on when I put key in
- yellow window indicator comes on
- when I depress the brake hard I hear a low pitched sputtering coming from the exhaust or some where around the driver side

I changed the battery like 5-6 months ago but never registered it.
Need opinions on what to do!! Thank you all

I don't know. Just went back out to the car and I hear a loud ticking noise from the glovebox. Pretty sure my battery is completely dead.

Anybody have knowledge on this prob? I know it's probably difficult to say much since it's more of an in person kind of issue to diagnose.

^^^ This is the correct starting point - what is the voltage?

Charge your battery with the correct charger will most likely be the second step...

If u recently replaced ur battery is most likely your starter that is bad. But first charge ur battery and do a load test just to make sure.

Update: My BST cable was detonated for whatever reason, I ordered a new one off ECS and installed last night along with a fresh new battery which I had replaced for free. Car started up fine. Oh how I missed my Active Autowerke exhaust!
