DPF for sale

i have a DPF filter for sale.i get off the filter like a year ago,and i realized i don't need it...it was on 335d 2009...the filter it is in good condition asking 1000$

I don't mean to dump on your sale thread, but you can get brand new aftermarket units for that price from Germany including a couple hundred bucks to get any missing bungs or tubes welded in. It sucks that the dealer is selling these things for $2500 here when it looks like the dealer in the UK is selling them for $1500.

Sorry to thread jack, but UK DPFs are different to US ones aren't they?

The expensive part is the same (the DPF itself) from what I understand. The cheap parts are different such as bung locations and specific bends. The dealership asks $2500 for a DPF. If you can get one for $700 from germany, you could have God himself do the adaptation and come in well under $2500. Since we dont have testing for the actual emissions themselves in the US, just visual and OBD, it doesnt really matter if the DPF is a bit lower quality like a lot of aftermarket cats are so long as it makes the computer happy.

Reason i ask i'm selling mine. But i reckon shipping would cost a lot to the US... Came off my 335d a few weeks back at 62k miles. BMWhat showed the life to be 156k miles.
