Threw on the ol' BMS Stage 1 laying around

Had one left over from my prior car. No dyno; butt says it's a shade faster especially in the low/midrange. Definitely noticing some lag when the boost kicks in. Not as smooth as the car without the tune from a throttle response perspective. Would still recommend.

15 minute install.

Thanks for posting. I think I'm happy with the cars low and mid range performance so I guess this is not necessary for me if it doesn't do much for the top end.

After driving on it for a week the lag is worse than I realized. My feeling is learning more towards neutral overall. May look at other options.

There should not be any noticeable lag.
Make sure you update to the newest firmware and post couple logs.

Is it really faster ? Whatever works for you mate thats all that matters. Yes I recommend updating the firmware but dont short out the usb cable or you will fry the box... good luck ! Also don't forget to waterproof the the unit in a plastic bag or if budget permits one of the new aluminium enclosures, better to be safe than sorry.

I can't update the firmware per Terry; my board is an older model I guess that can't get updates.
