WTB: F80 M3 Alpine White on Sakhir 6MT

Putting a feeler out to see if anyone wants to sell their F80 M3.

Looking for only Alpine White on Sakhir orange interior under 10k miles. Ideal would be a 70K msrp car for 60K ish.

Must be 6MT transmission

Prefer 19's, M adaptive suspension, HK audio, enhanced usb/bluetooth. Other options or packages are ok too.

For around 62-62.5k you could go pick up your own brand new 70k MSRP M from Munich and that includes the air ticket. Why would you buy used if you are going to be spending 60k. unless you need to have it right now??

I saw that after I started reading the 100 page thread. I guess I want to buy a 65-70K MSRP car in the high 50's if buying used which is unlikely.

Yes buying a year old used car is tricky because there is so much room in negotiations on a new car (as much as 14%) that you can end up getting a new car for the same amount someone may be asking for a used one. Options play a big role as well. Would I rather buy a used car with 10k miles that has the executive package and let's say headlight package or should I just get a new one with zero miles but without those two options? For me it's a no brainer to go for the second option.

Don't need anything in the executive package except CA and for 16 it's standard. Headlight package is just bling, the xenons are plenty bright.

Only musts are 6MT, adaptive M, 19's, HK and white on orange.

I'm in the same boat about ordering new or buying used. I'm saving time if I find one used at the right price and maybe $5k. But I'm worried about the person who owned it first (it is a sports car) and that the person who owned it didn't put a clear bra on it and my OCD about rock chips would drive me a little nuts.

If you can wait I'd get a new one. With the pricing the way it appears on the forums you're almost saving no money buying used, just time.

To buy anything used that "makes sense" you need to wait a few more years till lease returns are up and more inventory in the used market. At this point the car is too new and has not taken any real depreciation hit.

I'm waiting for my 2016 order

With the new M3 getting 14% off of a $76,500 equates out to a $10,700 discount. The invoice price of a $76,500 M3 is $71,425 ($5,025). This was the price of my M3 and I was lucky enough to get $2,500 off when I purchased it last July (2014). The amount of the discount will be determined by location I would believe. Case in point I live San Diego County and within a 100 mile radius there is only 9 M3's in the area. The dealers are not having any problem moving M3's here. I saw one F80 listed on CarMax with 5k miles listed for 71k and looking at the options on the car I figured the M3 was similar to mine at 76k. The car disappeared off the site within 2 days so that tells me someone bought it.

For the OP check your area market and dealers. I wish you luck in your search.

What do you mean with the new m3 getting 14% off?

Probably talking about some people doing Euro delivery and getting it at invoice. Euro delivery is 7% off US retail MSRP. Euro invoice is about 6-7% off Euro delivery MSRP. Total about 14% off US retail MSRP.
