I used to go there a few times a week. Then gas got to $5 a gallon so I stopped. Now I go every once in a while. It's a fun road.

I definitely plan to do this once I get my hill start skills sorted. It IS a fun road. Really want to drive it with the new M4.

You'll be able to do those in no time thanks to the hill stop feature on the 6MT

I'm getting there. I've got nearly a week of experience now. And traffic was 'kind' enough to let me practice a bit this morning while queuing for 85. Also, my morning test in the steep section of the parking garage at work was a slightly jerky success.

Those foothills are calling to me...

I'd be up for this. I actually drive all over that area myself. Some other good lesser known roads, too. Maybe we can compare notes!

Best time to do a run is during the week - take off an afternoon on Tues-Wed-Thurs and have fun from 1-3 PM. Relatively clear roads makes for much more fun.
