dumb carwash question

I will be getting my car on a couple weeks and have a question with regard to how to get bugs off the front end.

I have always been meticulous with my cars, but I will now be trying the two bucket method with a wooly pad. I have historically used a mitt with a mesh backing and it has required some elbow grease.

How will I be able to get the bugs off with just the wooly pad?

I found a dedicated product for removing insects while shopping for car cleaning supplies. I just use it with a microfiber towel and it works great. Not sure if it's sold in US, but you can probably find an equivalent.

I go to the self-power car wash. I start with pre-soak (just high pH solution), the bugs melt right off. Then go to pressure soap > Pressure rinse > Spotless rinse.

I found this stuff called tarminator which I will give a shot, but it looks like a high ph pre rinse is probably the safest for the paint.

Do clear bra on the front and then don't worry about damaging the paint to get the bugs off.
