How to replace cabin air filter?

Could someone tell me how to replace the cabin air filter (for the Air conditioning?) The parts number is 64119237555

I opened the hood and wonder where it might be. I need to replace it to eliminate the bad odor when I turned on the A/C.

thanks

Pretty sure it's under the glove box in the passenger seat footwell area. Have you checked there. You can also google "F30 cabin filter replacement" and there is a bunch of stuff on it.

Wink

1 st: it is in the passenger footwell area in the upper corner toward the engine and closest to the center of the car.
Yup it is in a hard to reach place, and you have to do yoga to get it.

2 nd: in order to avoid and eliminate the bad stinkin feet odor, you PRACTICALLY have to soak the new filter in LYSOL! And let it dry in the shade for the entire day. Do this before you taking everything apart.

If you do a thread search, there is one laying around this forum.

I never have to smell feet anymore for the past two years...
