Has anyone ever swapped out of a lease on lease trader or lease swap??

Would love to get some more color on the subject.

There is a story on the main bimmerpost page news section that breaks down every single thing about leasing. You'll find it, take the couple minutes it will answer all of your questions.

It's pretty straight forward. List the car, find someone interested, new owner or you will have to pay a $500 fee to take over and they need to pass a credit check to get the same terms as you. Generally you'll need to offer some type of an incentive as well.

Also it can't be within the last 6 months of your lease.

I've done it many times ; what ever you do, please do not go through lease trader. Swapalease is a million times better !! Lease trader is a rip off !
Lease trader you pay to post it and they charge the buyer an addition 200 in assisting the process .. Which there is nothing to assist !!
Someone wants your car, you call bmw financial they'll email a credit app to the potential buyer and you take it from there..

I just got out of my 550 using swap a lease 2 weeks ago. Was very easy. Basically once you find a buyer they are out of the process, and it is between you, the buyer, and BMWFS. Whole process took about 2 weeks. Let me know if you have specific questions.

Nice. Million dollar question is whether or not someone will actually want the car.

I'm moving into Manhattan, so my thinking is I'll get out of it, and save up for the likes of an M2 or F80.

I swapped out of my 328i on swapalease. The process is pretty smooth and painless mostly thanks to BMW.
