Resetting vehicle check notification?

I tried going through the process to reset vehicle check warning, but it says unsuccessful. It acts like it's resetting but then that message comes up.

any thoughts?

What tool are you using ? Is this for cel light ? I use dash commander and you need to be in neutral with the engine switched off but power to electronics on, clear the code then start it up again. They will be gone.

That's what I need. I was able to reset it but date pushed out to 2017 since it was originally 2016. Buggs me
