'05 E46 M3: Replacing the hood roundel

My beloved 2005 E46 M3 got punched in the nose by a hailstone and the roundel didn't survive. I'm ordering a replacement 82mm one from ebay. Any suggestions on how to affix it to the bracket? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

Can also use a flat head screw driver or a credit card .Good luck!

Most helpful. Thank you! I've got a new emblem in a box. I think my emblem actually came apart because the bottom half of the disc is still on the hood with dried glue on top of it. I'll see if I can find a "non-marring pry bar" aka plastic spoon

and get the rest of the old one to come off.
