Added some bling
I'm not one to go overboard on "bling", but because I think the Glacier Silver is a little subdued, I thought some colored brake caliber covers would look nice.

Color looks good
Not sure how I feel about the fake bolts on the cover

The color adds a nice pop, but adding fake caliper covers just doesn't work for me. Either paint the stock ones or get real performance brakes.

I think they look good. Most people would not even know their fake. Where did you get them? GT is not a performance car so no need for performance brakes.

I got them from autoanything.com back in February.
http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/61A7417A0A0.aspx They had a sale at the time, the total was $145 with free shipping. Didn't think that was bad. Would love to have had them personalized with "BMW" or "3GT" or something like that, but doing so would have nearly doubled the price. All I was going for was a little customization, something to make the car stand out a little--as though a 3GT doesn't stand out all ready, right? They were easy to put on. I installed them when I had the snow wheel/tires taken off and the summer ones put on. The tire shop let me do the work while they waited (living in a small town does have its benefits, sometimes). |

Simple enough if you're a backyard mechanic, but not so much if you aren't. I painted them on my old car when I last did a brake job on it, as the hardest part is pulling the calipers. As long as they're off anyway might as well paint them.

Not a huge fan of the fake covers. I am looking at available upgrades for my 2015 335xi and they are limited. Brakes are available, but I am not sure I really need them...
