Difficult to keep clean?

This weekend I decided to make a thorough wash and clean my car outside and inside after the winter. What I noted is that it collects a lot of dirt on the doors ("inside"/lower parts) and thresholds and round the door opening. I have not had a car that gets so dirty in these spots!!!??? If you open the back hatch it's not close to have the same amount of dirt around the opening and on the "inside" of the hatch. The car seams to suck in dirt around the doors like no car I previous owned, any one experienced the same?

The whole car gets dirty really fast. I'm noticing the same thing around the lower parts of the bumpers and around the "Bimmerangs" in the front fenders.

Mine is Glacier Silver and I've noticed the same thing. It's funny you mention it, I just shrugged it off. I wonder if the X3/X4 does the same thing.

After seeing the dirt pattern on the car behind the wheel wells the first accessory I added was mudflaps. They reduced the road spray by about half.

My old 1 series used to get totally filthy at the tailgate (which had a manual release button through the badge) meaning your hand would be filthy too - great just before you're going into a meeting! The F34 no matter how dirty it gets doesn't require any handling!
Cars get dirty!

another thing is that the car doesnt come with mud guards, which causes the bottom of the car to get dirty quick
