Are these caps that fit over the existing mirror covers or replacements? If replacements, how did you remove the stock covers?

On the f30, use a ruler to gently pop out the mirror then there are 2 tabs that become accessible. I got them off mine with no tools needed other than my kids wooden ruler.

They are replacements. The stock ones pop off and the replacements just go on. Took me about 15, I just really careful not to use too much force in removing stock caps.

looks really nice.
I think the carbon mirror caps look the best when there is nothing else black, such as m performance splitters, black wrapped roof etc.

Got mine from cuztom_tuning (a seller on ebay) for $150 and they went on perfectly! Took off the originals with a pry tool and my fingers in about a minute and the new ones snapped right on! Did not have to remove the mirrors, which saved a lot of time!
