KW. HR and ST aren't stainless steel which means they could corrode if you're not diligent about taking care of them. Plus, neither are on par with KW (even though ST are made by KW) so for the same price, why not go with the best product?

ST V1 is identical to KW V1, except ST V1 is not stainless. ST V1 is cadmium plated. KW has a lifetime warranty, ST has a 5yr. For the price difference I went with the ST V1.

Is Sonic Tuning coilovers stainless steel? Personally I need stainless steel and have been looking at their coils and mainly KW V1's.

how is the ride comfort? could I just have the shocks painted to prevent corrosion? and just keep anti corrosion sprayed on the thread? im seeing ecs tuning has these for 877.

Sorry, sold the car before I got to put them on. They are cadmium plated, so corrosion shouldn't be an issue. Coat any threads, and scratches with grease or something to keep corrosion from starting.
