Road rash, rock chips and curbed rims ...

All of the above KEEP happening to my car.

I've never curbed a rim IN MY LIFE and I've done it 3 times to this car.

$160 to fix each time ... Anyone else having these problems?!?

I managed to take a chunk out of the front passenger wheel but I have no recollection of when it actually happened. I know it wasnt there two days before I noticed it and I hadn't parallel parked anywhere in those two days. I'm thinking I must have maybe hit a rock or raised manhole cover at just the right angle to do it and never noticed it as more than just a bump in the road. Oh well I'll get it fixed eventually.

How well were they able to match the ferric grey color/finish of the wheels for $160?

Cut back on your alcohol consumption and your problem should go away.

The answer, gentlemen, seems perfectly clear to me..... it's your wives who did the damage !

Garage List
Only problem has been, some idiot , well, me, pulling too far into a parking place and scraping the bottom of my front air dam. Not visible but I know it's there

Oh shit

All seriousness.....it seems mine has a target. It has gotten more damage in the 7 months I have owned it than my 128i did in 3 years

I've done that pulling out of driveways where there was nothing I could do. They are small though and cant be seen.

$160 a wheel to repair curb rash seems awfully high. I had to have curb rash repairs done on two wheels when I turned in my MINI at the end of the lease and the detail place that did it charged me $25 a wheel and did each one in about 10 minutes. Grind and polish. Now, if a chunk was taken out that would be another matter.
