Perfect offset
Looking to put some 18s on my e90 lci m sport.
Just wondering if someone can tell me what would be the perfect offset for the wheels to sit flush with the arches.. Dont want the hassel of buying spacers lol I will not be lowering the car... Pictures would be great |

Go for 19's or you will have massive arch gap

I think you've missed the point of what the OP was after. Op I don't know the best offsets either but I imagine a mid to high 20's at the front and a high 20's/low 30's at the rear might be there or there abouts. Will watch this thread with Interest. |

i love my offset, running 18x8.5 et 38, and 18x9.5 et 35mm, these wheels are Enkei tuning raijins
no spacers , stock sports suspension http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1102654 |

As Zack has mentioned those offsets and wheel sizes seem to give a very good stance and brings the rims out to the arches quite nicely.
I've been looking at the same size and offsets too as considering going 18's as well.

I've also thought this as I'd consider getting rid of my 19" MV4's and going to 18's, but on MV3's without 20mm spacers on the rear they look like theyre playing hide and seek, tucked right inside the arch!

Depends on your tyres aswell buddy
Hassle free I'd be looking at ET20 fronts and ET30ish rears on the lci but varies greatly with tyres and rim size |

Im running MV3's and i have had to use spacers to get the wheels flush.
Front - 8x18 ET19 (15mm spacer) 225/40/18 Rear - 8.5x18 ET22 (20mm spacer) 255/35/18 Id trade the rear 20mm spacer to a 25mm spacer to get it flush making it ET17 All the above is on coilovers BTW. |

How do you work that out?
18" alloys use bigger sidewall than 19" alloys so the actual size difference of the alloy and tyre is marginal.... And i wouldnt say this arch gap is massive (msport springs with 18" alloys and stock size 255/35/18) id actually go as far as to say the arch gap is pretty bob on |

And i work out the arch gap between 18's and 19's to be 2.95mm arch gap loss with 19's
So basically the difference between a new tyre and a partly worn one (nothing) |

Yours looks not alot different to mine now, suppose it depends on what wheels and tyres you have
