Dilemma
Greetings guys Bare with me To cut a long story short, I want the 335i but if I were to order one i have to wait 6 months. There is one thats availabe, loaded with options with the following: 08 335i Black sapphire/ Jade grey/ Brushed aluminium The combo I would of liked : 08 335i Monaco blue/ Saddle brown/ Graphite Should I go for it? Wait on my desired combo ? Is the m-sport suspension worth the time? can it be done by the stealer? Thank you for the time |

Wait for the car you want. 6 months will fly by, and otherwise you'll always say "I should have waited". Now after saying that... I'd love the chance to get Jade Grey, sucks they don't offer it here.
Sure the dealer can do the M-tech suspension; but it'd probably be cheaper to include it on the ordered car.

Wait. Also set aside the payment for the 6 months for a nice down payment.

Think of how much you plan to spend, and then think to yourself that if you pick the car off the lot you are not getting what you want for all that money. Patience is a virtue.

Wait - I ordered my Montego Saddle Gray Poplar and absolutely love the combo - ordered last july (did Euro Deliver - do it if you order - it saves you money and is the trip of a lifetime) received it about 2 weeks ago here in the US.

Wait it out. And keep tabs of other dealerships too. Sometimes they may have the car in stock for you.
It will be worth the wait paying $$$ for something you really want as opposed to something you would settle for.

The dealer where I purchased my car has about 20 coupes on the lot right now...none were exactly what i wanted, so i ordered what i wanted...
I wouldnt think for a minute that i would spend 50K on a car and not have it exactly like i want it!. 6 months seems kind of crazy...id call another dealer and see if they can change an existing order... my car was ordered on jan 2 and was completed by the 10th. WAIT! |

Thats the thing .. where am at theirs only one dealer. The 6-month period isn't for production but due to the fact that the dealer has no available space for it in the upcoming cargo shipment so it has to wait for july. Think I'll wait

I say wait! I had to wait 4 months for the combo I wanted (montego, black leather, grey poplar trim) and I haven't stopped loving it! It's worth waiting...

I've been waiting for my car for 3 weeks and will probably have to wait for another 3 weeks.
It's TORTURE. I don't think I could handle six months.. I'd personally go with the one on the lot in your case, but then again the color combo you described sounds like something I'd like. If it were something I couldn't stand, then I'd wait. |

Patience always pays off in the longrun. I'm glad I ordered otherwise I probably wouldn't have my beloved coral.
