Took 5.5 months from order, over 2 months since drop-off in Munich, but finally the car is in my garage! The 40 minute drive home from Tacoma was pure bliss!

Purchased at BMW Northwest in Tacoma, although BMW of Bellevue is my "local" dealership.

Wow, revival of an old thread.

The build time was long due to timing the US delivery with end of my last lease (plus an ED thrown in there). All in all it was a great experience, even though the two months of watching the car make it's way to the U.S. was agony.

Never considered myself a "mod guy" so I had zero plans. But I've slowly done some small things - mostly after reading stuff here:

- MPE!!
- BMC drop in filters / charcoal filter removal
- BavSound Stage One and Ghost Subwoofer kits
- BlackVue dash cam
- Coding (dings/dongs removal, euro brake lights, etc.)

Contemplating getting an Escort 9500ci installed, and possible a Dinan tune. But I've been holding off until I can make up my mind what I want to do at lease end.

5 months sounds about right... I ordered mine in April, did ED in late June, and picked up the M in the glass box adjacent to yours

last week - also from BMW Northwest. I'll keep my eye out for a SO M3 around Seattle/Tacoma
