No boost after thermostat change

As above. I have replaced both thermostats today on my 335d and took it out for a test drive.

Car initially felt fine and then I heard a 'pop' like noise and since then have had no boost.

Any ideas please?

Sounds like you've blown off a boost pipe.

Check coolant level urgently, could be a loose hose that slipped off

Coolant leaking? Car overheat? If not then it is probably not related.

Cheers for the replies.

The coolant and temperatures all seemed OK although I didn't drove it too far.

Anyway to be honest I don't feel like messing with it anymore so going to get it to the garage for them to look at.

Quick update.

Apparently it was a boost pipe which had popped off. I've no idea which one but car seems to be back to usual again now.

The change of thermostats seems to have worked also.
