replacing MULF

jus a quick one guys the MULF has stopped working in my 56 E90, can i replace it with a new MULF2 or do i need a MULF?

There are different versions
TCU
MULF
MULF2
MULF2 high

If its TCU, you should replace it with TCU only.

If its MULF, then you can replace it with MULF2 but not MULF2 high.

Is there anyway I could fit a mulf2 high basis? My part number is 9123290. Struggling yo get hold of a mulf2.

You can but that requires additional work. It will require flashing that module with the vin of your car otherwise CCC/ CIC will not pair with mulf2 high basis.

i have access to DIS and INPA would this be easily do-able? or am i going to need a trip to come see you Sam?
